The gap between SSJ One Armed Gohan and Androids (at less than half power) must be huge.

-Gohan had only one arm.
-Gohan had just finished his training with Trunks, which means that he was exhausted.

Yet he still believed he had a chance of taking at least one Android with him.

1.5x seems way over the top though. That's Goku vs Ginyus level. Think about Gohan's mindset going into the fight. He knew it was a suicide mission and had a delusional hope that he'd be able to take one of them down. It implies that he surpassed their level, but it shouldn't be by so much that he'd have extreme confidence. He never did.

1.5x is a gap were you can take on 3 enemies at once. Also Gohan doesn’t seem really tired, nor do we know how long it’s been since they ended their training. 1.25x gap tops.

I think this gap is pretty inconsequential since it's just Gohan's estimative of a fight that never happened. I'd rather work around the androids saga and see where Gohan and <50% 17 fall after figuring the gap between Future 17 and Debut Trunks.
