What about the RoSaT makes it so beneficial for training? The gravity is very low considering how powerful the Z-Senshi had become... not to mention the artificial gravity Goku & Vegeta had used in the past. After Gohan acquired Super Saiyan, Goku claimed Gohan was making huge strides while he was using simple training techniques. It also was made clear that Goku was not helping Gohan train as he was trying to break the SSJ barrier. So what makes the RoSaT better than artificial gravity, or other planets with similar gravity?

For starters, having a year's worth of time within a day is a pretty huge factor. But besides, there's this:

No matter how much you train, there are limits to physical strength, and the only way to overcome that is through ki.

The Rosat isn't for physical training, but spiritual; hence the name. This is emphasized when we get a glimpse of Goku and Gohan's time in the Rosat: Gohan can barely train for a couple minutes before gassing off, while Goku is meditating on how to surpass the Super Saiyan. The conditions of the Room (Harsh temperatures and pressure) make the room too tough for training their already maxed out bodies, but ideal for meditation's purposes.

As GSM pointed out, the inconsistent temperature and air pressure of the room is something that sets it apart from simple gravity training and also adds additional difficulty to the spiritual aspect of training.

The harsher aspects of it, like extreme temperatures and the air pressure, although the air pressure was already a case on the lookout, only not as much iirc. Maybe the space you have for training as well, with RoSaT being as large as Earth and likely indestructible if not for the door. Vegeta noticed the harsher environment as soon as he got in and noticed it was perfect.
