Theory: Goku's Kaioken lowered his base stats/power with each usuage during the Saiyan arc

There is multiple pieces of evidence backing this up

1. Vegeta could still take hits and react to Kaioken x3 Goku despite Vegeta two shoting Cui at the same gap

2. Vegeta's Galick Gun being even with Goku's KKx3 KHH and Goku needing x4 to win despite the Saiyans being stated to being unable to alter their power through the use of amplified techniques

3. After the beam struggle Goku' is shown to be extremely Fatigued and injured from his multiple Kaioken uses

4. Goku's 50% Genkidama being unable to kill a injured and battle worn Vegeta despite Goku being confident in a full powered one defeating Oozaru Vegeta who Goku admitted he wouldn't be able to defeat even with Kaioken x5



Here are my numbers based off this:


Goku: 8,000

- Kaioken x2 @Nappa: 16,000

- Post First Usage: 7,200

- Kaioken x2: 14,400

- Post Second Usage: 7,000

- Kaioken x3: 21,000

- Post Third Usage: 6,000

- Kaioken x3 KHH: 18,000

- Kaioken x4 KHH: 24,000

- Post Fourth Usage: 5,600

- Kaioken x5: 28,000

- Genkidama: 36,000 (The lower the Genkidama is the better so just strong enough to injure Oozaru Vegeta)

- "Less than half" Genkidama: 5,000 (Initial Final Form Freeza said that he was using "less than half" his power against Goku so less than half doesn't have to be a particular percentage)



Vegeta (Initial): 16,500

- FP: 18,000

- Galick Gun: 18,000

- Post Power Ball: 3,500

- Oozaru: 35,000

It's much easier to assume Goku gets weaker as the fight goes on from chi expenditure so the multiplication total gets smaller.

Same result in the end.

I agree, except for the Kaio-Ken x2. Goku had mastered it and never had any trouble whatsoever, plus he only did it for half a second against Nappa.

But Initial Vegeta was portrayed as being way stronger than Kaioken Goku. 18k FP Vegeta >> Initial Vegeta >> 16k Kaioken Goku. I don't see how you can fit all of that within a 1.1 times gap.

It's not too crazy of an idea, & it kind of makes sense because of the nature of Kaiouken.



I always chalked it up to Goku losing stamina as the fight goes on (but the Kaiouken would add to that), like how his KKX3 Kamehameha should be stronger than Vegeta's Galick Gun,
8,000 x 3,000 =24,000, 24,000 > 18,000
So I have Goku's base at 6,000 at this point to compensate, as you do.

When factoring in blast multipliers, this can be applied to the fight with Goku vs Freeza. Goku (3,000,000) uses a Kaiouken X20 to match Freeza (60,000,000), but multiplying with the Kamehameha (2.22x multiplier) it should actually be 133,200,000. So, I have Goku's base at that point at 1,351,351.3513513513513513513513514. He was also spamming Kaiouken X10 in that fight beforehand if I remember correctly.

I don't think Goku lost any power against Nappa. Maybe he had taken some damage when he fired the 3fold kaioken.

Goku (post 3x kaioken): 7.000
Vegeta (injured): 16.500

Vegeta (gallick gun/1.33x): 22.000

Vegeta (post power ball): 4.500
Vegeta Oozaru: 45.000 (I think Goku was referring to his full power when he talked about a hypothetical 5x kaioken)
