Goku and Vegeta were scared to fight Super Boo directly after defusing and tried to yank Fat Bpo out of him in hopes that he would get weaker, so no they did not get any stronger after the fusion and nothing remotely suggests that.

Maybe Goku hadn't realized it yet.

The best argument someone can come up with to support the idea of Goku and Vegeta got stronger after Vegetto defusing is the comment of Vegeta about Goku and Kid Buu being stronger than what he imagined, Vegeta could grasp SSJ3 Goku's movements by observing him fighting Fat Buu, but Goku didn't even go all-out in the first place. If Vegeta got stronger, why didn't he outperform Good Buu against Kid Buu and didn't actually land any hit in hand-on-hand, whereas Buu can in the first part of the fight?

If this is anime-related stuff, then I'm off.

Maybe Good Buu had gotten stronger too. There is no logic in how Buus' powers work anyway.

Which is not implied at all, and even if Fat Buu = Good Buu, wasn't Fat Buu already stronger than Majin Vegeta?

Because they had not accepted their powers being increased so wildly yet. But they have the feats to back it up, even defeating Super Buu multiple times as mere Super Saiyans.
