- A lot of growth/focus on Zoro. Other than him getting his ass handed to him by Fujitora, we haven't seen Zoro struggle at all in part 2. He's never even used Asura yet. With the ties he has to Wano due to Shusui, hopefully he'll get enough fights to showcase his true power.
- Good way for Luffy to power up. Let's face it, Luffy needs some kind of big assed boost to challenge the Yonko. Whether it's jumping to Gear 5th quickly, a Gomu Gomu Awakening or Perfecting Haki, we need some way for him to challenge Kaidou by the end of the arc, considering this arc will likely take up a good chunk of the story. Of course, it also needs to be reasonable, not a copout.
- Links to Japanese folklore. We've already had a lot of hints to it linking to Japanese folklore, such as Momonosuke being based on Momotaro and theories about Kaidou's DF, such as that he could be the Oni King via the Oni Oni no Mi.
- Possibly introducing more of Roger's crew. Going back to Luffy needing a new power up, it'd make sense for a member of Roger's crew to be the one to bring him towards it, perhaps helping him perfect Haki and his DF. Rayleigh only taught him the basics after all, so it'd make sense for him to reach a new level by truly mastering them.
- More info on Awakenings. Since Doflamingo talked about it, Awakenings have rocked the community, as Awakened Zoan was the only thing we'd seen prior. I feel they'll be a lot of Awakened Zoan in Kaidou's Army, but I'm more interested to see the full effect it has on Paramecia and more importantly, Logia.
