Could it be the reason why TIen doesn't get stronger anymore post CG was because the kihoho shortened his potential?

Chapter: 132, P14.1
Kame-sennin: “It’s a technique that holds outrageous destructive power…many levels above even the Kamehameha…However, because of this extreme terribleness, it fiercely depletes one’s own energy, and they say people have even died from it…Even if one doesn’t die, one’s lifespan will undoubtedly be shortened…”

Despite it didn't mention about potential, does kihoho has something to do with Tien's potential?

I would say shortened lifespan =/= potential. Tenshinhan even as an old man was training every day and gaining pretty much nothing. His potential is limited as it is.

It could actually be, since he used it a few times already and even used an enhanced one.

The only side effect the kikoho has is almost killing him.

Ten has pretty limited potential after training on kaio's

Ten should have an astounding potential according to the 22nd Budôkai. He learned the Kamehameha after he saw Yamcha doing it and made an even bigger against Roshi, whereas Goku could only do a pretty small Kamehameha after he saw Roshi doing it in the research for the Dragon Balls.

Tenshinhan was already trained in ki, Goku had no knowledge in ki. If anything, Goku even performing the KHH the first time was wayyy more impressive than Tenshinhan copying a ki attack.

He has no potential. He maxed out after the 23rd, but managed to find 3 other 3-eyed men to do a reverse Shishinken with in the Saiyan arc to give the illusion that he trained and got stronger. This is also why he was useless as tits on a bull starting at the Saiyan arc :et

Other thing: when Goku was about to drink the super Water, Karin told him that if he trains for several years he should be able to beat Piccolo Daimao. Tenshinhan, who was weaker than this Goku managed to surpass Piccolo Daimao in 3 years.

Doesn't mean much since the humans got better gains at Kami's in 1 year than Goku did in 3. Training boosts just get continually haxed if the plot demands it.

Well yeah. But it could be explained by the humans training together, which is shown to be more effective than training alone.

Tien is potentially much stronger than Krillin or Yamcha but below Chi-Chi and Yajirobe.

:troll is a senile old coot. There's no way someone who always trains AND has the Neo Tri-Beam can be weaker than a bald midget like Krillen.
