Although they showed us in DBZ that there are 4 and in DBS other 3 appear. We have 7 Time Lines in total. Let us begin:
Cell Line: In that Line, all events from DB to Arc Freezer were identical to the Main Line, but as there were no travelers in Time, Goku had to teleport and kill Frieza and King Cold. Two years passed, Goku died due to his illness, 6 months passed and Trunks was born. Then another 6 months passed and the Androids # 17 and # 18 appeared. These 2 ended with everyone. Over the years, Gohan trained Trunks and in turn faced the Androids, until one day, the Androids murdered Gohan. 3 years passed and Trunks felt strong enough to challenge them and he faced them, but these villains turned out to be much more powerful than Trunks expected and they beat him up. Then Trunks traveled to the past (creating the Invisible Line). Then I return to this Line to train and after 3 years I return to the Invisible Line. Trunks returns for the second time and with a remote control and with this it stops the Androids and kills them. Three years passed and Trunks was preparing to travel to the Invisible Line, to tell them that he had destroyed the Androids, but while Trunks was preparing the Time Machine, Cell appeared and killed him by surprise. Cell traveled to an even more distant past and thus created the Main Time Line.
Invisible Line: This Line is similar to the Main Line, but with the difference that the only traveler in Time was Trunks (Cell Line). Therefore, Kamisama did not merge with Piccolo and probably the Z Warriors did not train in the Time Room. What if, they found the Planes of the Androids and with them they stopped them or they simply became friends of them, since these Androids were not bad (as it happened in DBM). Then Trunks (Cell Line) returned with control to its Timeline. When that Trunks dies (Cell Line), I never return to this Line. According to the Daisensou, CG occurs without Trunks. Surely, the idea of DBM occurs, the Androids become friends with the Z Warriors and when there are no threats, nobody becomes very powerful. Many years pass and Cell leaves the laboratory and absorbs the Androids.
Main Line: It is the one we know. Two travelers arrived in Time, Cell (Cell Line) and Trunks (Line Trunks). Gohan SSJ2 kills Cell (Cell Line). The Arc Majin Boo occurs, then DBS, etc.
Trunks Line: It is similar to the Cell Line, but with the difference is that this Trunks trains twice in the Rosat in the Past and therefore, it became extremely powerful and ended with the Androids and Cell.
There is also talk of a Future Trunks traveling to the Cell Line. That theory is interesting, but I do not believe it. If a Future Trunks had arrived at the Cell Line, it would mean that:
In the Cell Line, Goku would have his medicine and together with others, they would train for the arrival of the Androids. Then, despite the fact that Goku was there and everyone is as strong as in the Android Arc, they were killed by the Androids, which means that the Androids would be as powerful as the Androids of the Main Line and equally bad. the Androids of the Cell Line. Then, having traveled a Future Trunks, it made the Androids much stronger and that the arrival of Cell made the Androids not bad. It sounds interesting, but I think it was more of a mistake or I did not think about the AT situation or just recycle images.
Cell, seeing Vegeta on the Main Line for the first time, was impressed by how strong he had become. If this theory were true, it would be assumed that Vegeta (Cell Line) = Vegeta (Android). Then it would not make much sense and I do not think Cell (Cell Line) has not seen Vegeta being killed by the Androids. Also Cell specifies that in his Vegeta Timeline had been killed by the Androids and did not mention how Goku had died. that's why I think the Cell Line is similar to the Trunks Line, instead of a mix between the Main Line and the Trunks Line.
In DBS we are told that the first traveler in Time, was an individual of Universe 12.
We have 5 temporary lines.
They then blame Beerus for creating a new Timeline, by killing Zamasu. Actually I see that as bad writing. Could it be that Beerus prevented another Goku Black from appearing, instead of creating another Timeline?
I have a theory of how another Timeline appeared:
Line of Zamasu: this Line was similar to the Main Line, even the Tournament Universes 6 vs 7 took place. But everything changed because Trunks did not reach this Line, since they did not know of the existence of Zamasu and this last change the sane of Goku and I kill Goku, transforming into Goku Black. Goku Black traveled to the Trunks Line.
On the Trunks Line, well Trunks killed Babidi and Dabura. A year passed. As time passed, Goku Black appeared. Trunks spent a year fighting Goku Black, until Trunks managed to use the Time machine.
We all wonder, should not Trunks have reached the Main Line, where Goku had been killed by Goku Black?
This is my theory, I think Trunks (Trunks Line), I was so hurt and I was practically starting and I travel a little more to the past without wanting to and I create the Main Line.
That's where the sixth Timeline appears.
The Seventh Timeline is the one that Whis creates, so that Trunks (Line Trunks) and Mai (Line Trunks) live and this Line is similar to the Trunks Line, but with the difference that Beerus kills Dabura and then kills Goku Black and Zamasu.
So, we have:
Universe Line 12.
Cell line.
Invisible line.
Zamasu Line
Trunks line.
Principal line.
Line of the 2 Trunks and 2 Mai.
