Is it conceivable that a Super Saiyan could use USSJ to power up to the point where the other fighter would be unable to hurt them? Granted, they would be limited in the offensive department, but then the opponent might wear themselves out if they can't recognize the situation.

I saw this play out in Rocky III, so it's a viable strategy. I was just sad to see the form never used again.

I think you'd literally explode from having too much muscle before reaching that level of power. Trunks was only a bit stronger than suppressed Cell, but he was still extremely massive. To reach the point of "invincibility", he'd have to go a few more stages at least.
