Vegeta has never beaten Goku

In Vegeta’s mind at least, and it’s not because Vegeta has an inferiority complex. No spoilers, but that part in Super Hero has got me thinking about this a bit.

In the Boo Saga Goku and Vegeta called a truce, only for Vegeta to punch Goku from behind. Technically he did win, but it wasn’t a fair win. Finding out Goku held back only hurts Vegeta’s pride even more. Goku basically allowed himself to get beaten here.

In the Saiyan Saga Vegeta did break every bone in Goku’s body, and then Gohan and co. took on the rest of the fight for him. But Vegeta spends the rest of the series holding a grudge against Goku, not these small timers. Goku didn’t fight but he coordinated the Z Fighters, having Kuririn use his Genki-Dama and then telling Gohan to to Oozaru. Yajirobe acted all on his own when cutting Vegeta’s tail, but that ended up being for the best since Saiyans don’t need tails anymore. In the end Vegeta’s life was in Goku’s hands, so I think Vegeta considered them even after that battle, which is obviously not enough for him.

So yeah, Vegeta never truly beat Goku and is justified in acting the way he does about their rivalry.

Majin Vegeta knocked Goku, he win tricking him due to his innocence and get the senzu, if anything, if Goku could've killed Cell, wouldn't it had been a fair win because he tricked him? Doesn't make that much sense.

Goku saved his life the first time but a Vegeta did in that fight against Goku. The second time yeah Goku could have won but he chose not to so that’s his own fault.

If they didn't cheat and allowed Goku to fight Vegeta one on one, Vegeta would have killed Goku.

Just noticed I fucked up typing my earlier post. I was agreeing with you.

Vegeta made that moon through a technique so I say it’s fair.
It's still a cheap move since he knows Goku can't transform without a tail. He basically admitted defeat fighting on even terms and decided to whip out an unfair advantage of his.

Same could be said about Goku using the Spirit Bomb, KK, his entire group of friends, etc.

Vegeta, in canon, is 3-0 against Goku.

Nah the existence of SSJ3 makes Majin Vegeta's entire existence a joke.

Also Kaio-ken is just a ki amplifying technique that doesn't rely on the environment. Calling that cheating is like calling the KHH and Mankankosappo cheat moves against Raditz. Genkidama and calling his friends are cheap though yeah.

The first encounter ought to be a disastrous memory in Vegeta's mind. His world view was essentially flipped on its head, and he ultimately failed to get the job done despite trying everything in his arsenal. Goku got help, yes, but Goku himself was viewed as a lowly person by him, so vastly weaker guys managing to greatly affect the battle just adds insult to injury from the perspective of such a competitive and 'elite' person.

Honestly enraged Gohan holding off Vegeta even if he was weakened was just PIS

And then Vegeta's left with an inch of his life post genkidama and he can still blow Gohan, Kuririn and Goku away lol

And Goku actually spared in him the end. If he could I think he’d have acted just like Freeza and blasted Goku from behind.

Goku refused to kill 50% Freeza because it wouldn’t be fair, so yeah I don’t think Goku would be satisfied with killing a suppressed Cell though he’d be satisfied since he got a run for his money at least.

And what Vegeta did was more like, they stopped the fight to go after Boo and then he attacked Goku after it was over because he thought he should fight Boo alone.

Vegeta defeated Goku one on one. Goku had to have his friends jump in to save his life.

Since Goku made Kuririn let Vegeta go I think he considers it a tie at best. Sure Goku was crippled, but Vegeta’s life was in Goku’s hands by the end. He owned Vegeta’s life in that moment.

Goku was willing to kill Freeza even after he realized that Freeza was only using 50% of his power; with the Kaioken x20 kamehameha and the Genkidama, he promised Cell he would kill him when they first encounter, even though he knew that his body wasn't completely perfected or that things would get more out of hand.

My point is that victories that Goku had wouldn't be fair, especially as he himself said the reason why Freeza lost is due to his ki diminishing.

Win is a win. It may have been through illicit means but there was never any rules in those battles to begin with.

Vegeta doesn't consider his "win" against SSJ2 Goku a win. He merely thought of it as postponing the fight.
