Vento Aureo Anime Announced

So, it was announced at Tokyo's Italian Culture expo earlier this month that Part 5 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is getting an anime adaption. From the look of the promo, it seems the art style will be faithful to the manga's mid/later events, with the additional benefit of having the shading on character faces from Part 4's anime.

Personally, I'm not too much of a fan of Part 5 due to it's bland protagonist, it's antagonist and Fugo being wasted potential and a lot of the Stands making it hard to take the power system's balancing element as serious (Notorious B.I.G. essentially ignoring all the rules of Stands for no apparent reason and Requiem Stands >>> The Rest), though it's at least worth a watch moreso than anything else being brought out nowadays and means we'll get the Part 6 and 7 anime sooner rather than later.

Despite its flaws, I'm still excited to see some of the Part 5 battles animated, although I imagine a lot of them will have censorship (especially the Metallica fight).

Some new images taken from those who watched the first episode's exclusive screening give us a good look at the art style.

Seems it's art style will be closer to the Part 4 anime than the Part 5 anime, which is a big plus for me. Vento Aureo's art was the worst style in the JoJo manga imo with the way characters' noses were drawn and the general lack of detailed shading compared to previous parts, so seeing it holds more of those qualities from DP's Stardust Crusaders/Diamond is Unbreakable is gureto daze.

Just watched the first episode. Anime of the year.
