Vista vs Denjiro

Denjiro's pretty difficult to scale. He didn't seem far stronger than Zoro when they duelled, yet he can also aid the Scabbards enough to cut through Kaido. The most consistent way I could chalk things up is just saying the Sulong duo were putting in most of the work, in which case Vista wins with probably mid or high-diff.

Idk if his duel with Zoro is the best example. Cba to reread it but wasn't he just fooling around there? I recall that he lacked any sort of serious expression and didn't even use Haki. Having Advanced Armament Haki should make him a lot stronger than Zoro by default.

That's true about his expression. For Haki though, I would say it's worth noting Zoro never used any either. Denjiro was definitely the stronger of the two at equal levels, though some comments from his subordinates suggest it wasn't by a huge amount.

Yea I'd probably agree with that. So I guess it comes down to whether current Zoro is on Vista's level yet. I bet he's close but not there yet, so I'll agree with your assessment.

Didn't they fight before Zoro mastered Enma though? That said, regardless of what feats Current Zoro shows, it wouldn't necessarily scale to Denjiro.

Yes, but Denjiro also wasn't fighting at anywhere near his top level, so it's fair to say their fight would look a lot different now. Still, I doubt Denjiro would end up weaker than Ashura who was already on Jack's level. With CoA Lv 3, I'd find it hard to believe Zoro could defeat him even with Enma (though who knows with Oda's halfassed powerups).

Unless we actively see Denjiro do something comparable to Current Zoro on his own, I wouldn't say he can receive scaling from him when assuming the difference between his casual and full effort is equivalent to that of Zoro's training gains would be kind of a stretch. I wouldn't say there's much that would suggest Denjiro is indeed above Ashura Doji as of yet, particularly when them being lumped into the same category only places them significantly above the likes of Kinemon.
