Was Goku at full power versus Yajirobe?

Goku seemed to think Yajirobe was Tamb's ally, so there would be no much point in holding back against him. Besides, Goku concluded Yajirobe was the toughest guy he ever met, which seems a bit strange if Goku only attacked him at his match level or so.

On the other hand, Yajirobe was impressed with the way Goku was beating Tambourine, saying it's better don't make him mad.

What do you guys think?

I don't think he was at full-power. He might have just been testing Yajirobe to see how strong he is. Yajirobe isn't Tambourine, and Goku seemed rather calm when Cymbal came around so yeah.

Tough doesn't have to mean that. Yajirobe'd still most likely be higher than Tenshinhan in my opinion. Goku was probably using the equivalent of match-level. Just means Yajirobe was able to take hits head-on without looking like he just got beat-up really bad.

Absolutely not. He displayed much more power vs Tambo making Yakirobe fear Goku. He didn't think much of him when they had their little battle aside from "he's strong". He's strong turned into "damn I shouldn't fuck with this guy".

Even if he wasn't Goku's statement puts Yajirobe on par with Tenshinhan, and above in terms of resilience.

I didn't say "tough" means it. "Tough" in that case meant "resilient", which is the commom meaning to this word. But it doesn't change the point. Goku concluded Yajirobe was the toughest person he ever met when this latter took a beat from him without damage. If Goku weren't using his full power, how would he have concluded Yajirobe is above, let's say, Tenshinhan in terms of resilience, when Tenshinhan wasn't that much damaged over Goku's first assault?

As you said, it makes little sense for Goku not to have been at full power. I think what impressed Yadjirobe was Goku's ability
to produce multiple images of himself.

Yajirobe has two levels, his warm up and his "going for real". He probably was warming up against Goku, like Goku was.

Tambourine is too high. Yajirobe > Tambourine. Goku seems to hold Yajirobe's power much higher regard than he does Tambourine.

As i said, Yadjirobe's freaking out later can easily be explained by Goku's multiple image
technique, it doesn't have to be about power.

Well I dunno if that makes much sense. Yajirobe said it's better don't make him mad, which seems more like a power thing. How would "be mad" be associed with making multiple images of yourself?

Maybe the ''not make him mad'' means he wasn't mad before, so he used tournament level after all.
