Was Goku Haxed Against Pure Boo?

Context: as Goku fights pure Boo
Vegeta: “Kakarot…You’re incredible…I am simply no match for that Majin Boo…You’re the only one capable of fighting him…”

How can Vegeta make a such claim since he saw how Gotenks and Gohan fought Super Boo who Goku admit that he can't beat? Doesn't really make sense! Was Goku Haxed at the end of Boo arc since it also match on Toriyama's claim that Goku is the strongest something like that. Discuss.

SSJ3 Goku being retconned to SSJ Manga Vegetto's level or so is the only way to fit all the statements and implications together. I'm starting to treat the Buu Arc like Super and GT, where statements/implications trump all logic. It's really stupid, but it works.

He told Goku he witness his SSJ3 form from the Afterlife. As for the fusion part, he likely saw the kids fusing into Fat, Skinny, Base, and SSJ Gotenks. He seems to only know the events up to the debut of Evil Boo.

He could've just spectated up to the point that the kids first fused into Gotenks. Wouldn't contradict anything, since SS3 Goku >>> Base Gotenks (Pre-Rosat)

Doesn't make sense. Vegeta knew the fusion steps which mean he saw the kids performed it which is either in the ROSAT or before Boo absorbed them.
