After Goku defeated Kuririn, Kame Sen'nin said he has a feeling Goku surpassed even him. But we have to take into account Goku used a super speed to disppear in front of everyone, with even Tenshinhan stating he has problems seeing Goku. So maybe Kame Sen'nin admitted inferiority towards that super speed, which resembles a technique.

That super speed was still his match level power though. He uses the same move on tenshinhan before he goes to full power, tenshinhan counters it easily.

So what version of Goku surpassed Kame-sennin? Kame-sennin said that he felt surpassed by Goku, but that's after Goku showing a speed Tenshinhan could barely see.

don't overcomplicate stuff and follow my gaps...

Goku's match level is only a point lower than his battle level? Gee, in that case I don't see what the point is in holding back.

Yeah, Tenshinhan even defined that as a whole new level of power, so I don't think it's a gap as small as 1.14x.

Tenshinhan said that before Goku showed any power up, he was talking about something he hadn't seen yet.
Tenshinhan had a moderate advantage over Match Goku and a sligh disadvantage against FP Goku. So, no
big gap between the two Goku's levels, unless you think Tenshinhan didn't start all out against Goku.

Chaozu did say in the middle of Ten's fight with Goku that was the first time he saw Ten go all out.
