Was pulling out the Z Sword a strength feat?

Or was it something symbolic like King Arthur pulling the sword? I think it was both. It required great strength to
pull it but Gohan was the one destined to do it anyway.

You just need a strength to pull it off. Gohan and Trunks did it and I'm sure Goku and the others can do it. For the Kais it is a feat but not to the Saiyans IMO.

It required some strength as Gohan still needed to go SSJ. For Kaioshin, however, you can easily argue a seal was placed on it to prevent them being able to accomplish the task since I doubt Beerus would be so incompetent as to make it possible for a Shin-jin of great enough strength to overcome it when we've seen special cases such as Zamasu can exist.

Zamasu is a rare being though not an unusual Kai with that kind of strength. Beerus probably thought that none of the Kaioshins are strong enough to pull it and no mortal can go to the Kaioshin world.

Even though Shin seemed awed by Zamasu's strength, Beerus was never so impressed, which would bring into question if such as Shin-jin had ever existed in Beerus' 75+ million year tenure as a Hakaishin. With that said, it seems very improbable that in all that time, not one Kaioshin from within the multiverse surpassed SSJ Gohan.

no mortal can go to the Kaioshin world.
If anything, wouldn't that support the idea of Beerus taking precautions in making sure no Shin-jin could break it, yet still open to mortals? Even though the multiverse could still produce mortals far above SSJ Gohan, Beerus treating it as inconceivable one could kill Freeza would suggest it's only a recent trend and thus not a factor in his seal.

I don't know but why did Beerus sealed Old Kai in the first place? He probably thought it was just a joke.

Considering he's the kind of guy selfish enough to destroy planets over food, I doubt he'd treat losing a game of hide and seek as something light.

That was when Beerus destroyed King Kai's planets. Beerus sealed Elder Kaioshin away because they had an argument over whose position was most important.

In the original manga, it was stated he sealed him because he was afraid of his potential unlocking ability.
