Was the RRA stronger than Earth’s forces?

I forget if there was a statement about their overall power in comparison to earth’s. Considering they had several bases of operation that went uncontested, is it fair to say their power exceeded that of all of earths?

Roshi, Yamcha and Krillin thought Goku would get slaughtered by their power.

Doubt it. They said the police couldn't take care of the RRA, not the royal army. It also doesn't seem like millions upon millions of soldiers were enlisted in the RRA either.

the commander red stated that conquering the world is something he could do but that he had to have a fine height so he'd be up to the looks of someone that important, so he had confidence that his army would be enough to get hold of it. also, from what we've seen, the Earth's army seemed nothing special when piccolo daimao booted it. sure thing that piccolo is just wayyy out of anyone prior's league, but there didn't seem to be an extensive number of soldiers and weapons to make it way more impressive than the RRA and while there seemed to be someone special like the king guard, piccolo's "compliment" that was targeted at him seemed to be more condescending than anything.

The Earth's Army was way more impressive when they attacked Cell only about 15 years later. I doubt they added more shit to their military budget considering Majunior, the Saiyans and Freeza weren't well known to the general public.

For reasons Kenshi mentioned, I'd say no. Someone of the rank of Colonel like Silver only had a small platoon in the manga and, as mentioned, the only benchmark they were given was to the police and that was by someone who should have knowledge of how technologically talented they are. I'd say Red's statement can be attributed to his arrogance, considering he was shown to be far from a rational mind prior. The RRA had the potential to surpass Earth's standing military, but only if they mass-produced the Battle Jackets and created more Artificial Humans.

As far as judging how the Third Reich would fare, it's difficult. For someone so hyped up, the military of the RRA seems pretty incompetent when it comes to organising their military. Their HQ mainly only had ground troops to defend it, with there being a scarcity of planes and seemingly no tanks. Assuming Hitler were to send all his forces to take down Goku, the sheer amount of troops and tanks combined with genius military strategists such as Rommel would definitely kill Galu.
