Was the "you have to have tripled your power" statement in the Japanese anime?

In the English dub, when Vegeta came out of the spirit room, Goku told him, "You have to have tripled your power to stand a chance against Cell." Was that line in the Japanese anime too?

I see no reason not to use that dub line, since there is no other evidence about the gaps after the Early Androids Saga except some arbitrary assumptions we can make based on tanking feats.
