I know it made some money, but considering the hype, it feels as if it left little impact. I don't know anyone who plays it vigorously. It rarely gets discussed in depth.

All things considered, I expected it to be bigger in the DragonBall community than it is right now.

Again, not to say Xenoverse isn't fun, or didn't make some cash, but it is certainly far down the chain when it comes to relevance.

Thoughts?

I think it did well early on, but perhaps died off in time, although I'm not too sure.

I haven't really been up to date with games since Ultimate Tenkaichi.

It sold over 2 million copies in just a few months after launch and is the most critically acclaimed mainstream DBZ game since Atari lost the distribution rights. Not to mention it restored many people's faith in DBZ games.

Not what I'd call a flop.

Well I had no doubt the financial success was good. The critical acclaim certainty speaks well of it. With all of that, I find it surprising that Xenoverse as a whole isn't discussed more. Especially as it pertains to the impact it had at continuing the story in its own way.
