What are some wacky beliefs you used to have about Dragon Ball?

The wackiest thing I ever believed is probably when I thought Freeza and Cell were brother and sister.
I was young and watching GT on Toonami (or maybe Adult Swim) and saw Freeza and Cell fighting Goku in HFIL and assumed they were siblings for some reason... I also thought Freeza was a girl because of Linda Young.

What about y'all?

I'm not sure about wacky stuff, but I use to be an ardent follower of Kid Boo > Super Boo, and for some reason I'd thought King Cold was significantly more powerful than he actually is.

I thought Freeza/Zarbon/Dodoria are women, because that's what they were supposed to be in my country's dub.
I thought Alternate Trunkses sword is Gohan's Zeta sword, because a classmate had told me so.

As a kid (5-8 years old):

- That Android 17 was a girl
- That Freeza was a woman (not that unusual tbf)
- That Goten was Goku. Literally, that it was just him as a kid.
- That Vegeta was the strongest main character, but was just a bit bad/unhinged

Can't remember if I had any particularly wacky beliefs when I watched the series properly. Maybe something towards the end of the Buu Saga, but I can't remember what. Guess I thought Super Buu = Original Fat Buu, but just a bit quicker or something. I probably overrated Gohan's strength at the start of the Buu Saga.

I thought Buu's fury GB storyline is true such as M10 and Fusion Reborn were happening where Boo is still alive.

That isn't wacky. I think people putting ROSAT Base Gotenks way above SS3 Goku based off some fairly light implications is a bit too much imo.
