What deck would you make if you lived in Yugioh universe?

Time period is Duelist Kingdom saga, so the rules used for the game are the 2000 LP, no tributes and direct
attacks. Assume you can make your ideal deck, using any card you wish (including Blue Eyes White Dragon).
What do you play?
Cards excluded: Direct damage cards (for obvious reasons).

I'd use a combo of Mai's deck with Kabia's deck. Raikage (she has it right?) + Harpie's feather duster followed up by a direct attack from Blue Eyes.

No direct attacks.

I'd load my deck with every super beatstick I could find, some BS field nukers, and of course a Crush Card combo to counteract others who would just run beatsticks. Other than a specific combo, there's really no reason to have weak monsters in your deck during the DK era.

If I lived in the Yu-Gi-Ohverse at any period in time I'd make up my own archtype since cards tend to appear in the anime before being released to the general public.

That's why I've got HFD and Raigeki. At worst it'll be a draw.

But, if, in any case, the opponent does activate Crush Virus, you won't have any monsters left to play, so,
you'll automatically lose. Kaiba made the mistake of including only high level monsters in his deck and you
saw what happened.

Also, i think it's highly implied Harpy Feather Duster, at DK, can only be activated with a Harpy on the field.

Well, fuck. I'll throw some weaker monsters in and just put them in defense mode.

I think you'd also need some piercing damage cards, since, theoretically, you can come across some awful
duelist who will forever play defense mode until you deck out.
