What do you think of the post-absorptions Androids?

Not as much of a numbers thing, as much I just ask how high do you think they were? Weaker than Trunks when we first saw him? Higher than Trunks? Weaker by a lot? Higher by a lot?

Man, I go back and forth wif this one. It's hard putting them above Freeza, right? I mean, its Freeza, and here we are talking about a fat mime and an old man. On the other hand, if the androids are too far down, Goku should have just ripped them to shreds, sick or not.

Then again, they seemed desperate to absorb ki. Especially Gero, he was all about taking energy. If they were so powerful, why the immediate need?

I didn't really answer your question, mostly because I am musing before I answer. What you think? Even if I say they were around King Cold, we saw what Trunks did to him, and Goku & company were way stronger than that by the time the androids showed up.

I'm going to say 1.5x Freeza at full power on Namek. That might be enough to not get one-shotted by sick Goku.

To be honest, I always thought it was weird how Piccolo all of a sudden shot-up that high in power, but then again it's a manga, so whatever. l0l

But yeah, I think he could be at-least higher than even Trunks when we first saw him, since he was confident in his abilities, and the way AT portrayed him in that point of the story. He's clearly shown as above the humans, just like the Saiyans, even before the real androids show-up, unlike in the Boo Saga where there's really nothing for him.

There's also the cover of one of the chapters, which shows him sparring/training with SSj Goku.

Well he could still read his movements, so if Android #19 was stronger or weaker than Dr. Gero, he'd know I think. In-fact even Vegeta was surprised at Dr. Gero's speed,even-though that could mean many things.

That's true, but considering they were the only androids there to begin with, and doing the exact same thing Trunks said they'd do, maybe that's the reason why they didn't question it, at-least initially. After Piccolo did defeat Android #20, he did bring-up the possibility of them being too weak, but yeah I see what you are saying.
