This is about the El Manga Legendario and I want to see what do you think of its stance on Kid Buu's power. It says that when Buff Buu reverted, he reverted to a not-so-strong form and that either Gohan or Gotenks could beat Kid Buu:

The following is a rough translation:

In this scene, the Shunkanido technique fails to save Gohan, Goten and Trunks, which was a hard blow. Thinking about the situation, in which Bu had returned to his most violent but not so strong form, with Gotenks and Gohan would have been enough to defeat him. It was a great loss, and Vegeta was outraged with Goku for saving Dende and Mister Satan earlier than for his family. However, in the final battle against Bu, Dende and Mister Satan played an important role. Almost all the characters had already died at least once and had been brought back to life with the dragon balls. The only ones who had not gone through that experience were Gohan, Goten and Trunks. And on top of that, even the Earth, which had been saved many times from destruction, had been erased in a stroke. This situation prepared the readers for what would be the great final battle.

So what do you think?

Gotenks/Gohan > Pure Boo should be obvious to anyone who's read the manga, so nothing much to look at here.

No, it's actually arguable. Regardless, I'm not saying I believe in Kid Buu > Gotenks and Gohan. I'm looking at how many people agree with this guide and are willing to use it as a piece of evidence to support themselves

That part might be true, but it all depends on who wrote it and who they communicated with to help them write it. Did they speak to Akira Toriyama? Did they speak to Toei? Did they collaborate with anyone who worked with Akira Toriyama (like the Daizenshuu people)? If it's just some random writers, then that would be the equivalent of a collection of us writing it out just because we watched the series. And you already know that if we argue and debate about lots of things, that there's no way that all of the info in there is irrefutable.

The Daizenshuus aren't perfect either in terms of the obvious things (if it says somewhere that Tenshinhan had four eyes, we obviously know not to trust it), but for things that we have no way of knowing, I think I'll listen to the guys who either collaborated with Akira Toriyama, or got the go-ahead from the owners of DB (Toei) to release said information.

Thing is, this Guide is written by Bird Studio with Sheisha, who Akira says knows more than him about DBZ. In fact, this Guide has some information about Akira Toriyama's personal belongings, so If would be funny to say that this guide is fake when information about the Author himself and some stuff related to him are mentioned.

This guide is published in Spanish and French. Alot of DBZ guides are like that, where they're published in English rather than Japanese instead, yet they still have Akira's direct approval.

Well it does makes sense especially that Goku thought Gohan and Gotenks are strong enough to help them against Pure Boo.

Again, if it was written by someone who collaborated with people who were in charge of making those decisions, then great. If it's not just that they have the logo due to copyright reasons, but was really written by someone who collaborated with those that have the final say on DB, then it's all good.
