When Freeza (2nd form) was about to kill Gohan, Goku said ''curses, i can't wait till all my wounds are
healed'', but, next moment, Piccolo showed up.
So, if Piccolo had been late and Goku had decided to get out of the healing chamber even though he
wasn't fully healed yet, how would this have gone?
Would Goku have got a zenkai? I mean, does a Saiyan to be fully healed after overcoming death to
receive one? If you think he would have got a zenkai, how would a somewhat injured Goku have
fared against 2nd form Freeza? Would he have stomped? Would he have let him transform? Or
would his injuries have made him think smart for a change and destroyed Freeza without giving
him chances to do anything?
Also, if you believe the heroes would have won, how would the next sagas have been? Would Goku
have got the virus? (this hugely depends on whether you think Goku got the virus on Yardrat or
elsewhere)

I don't think that escaping was the option for anyone, since the moment Freeza showed up.
For what it's worth, in the anime filler, Vegeta tried to escape, when Freeza was in second
form, but Freeza stopped him. If Dende had tried to escape, he'd have been stopped too.

I don't think I would called it escaping. More like how Dende heals Kuririn and Gohan, waiting for the right moment to sneak in for the heal, then go hide, and repeat.
