What If Tien Got His Potential Unlocked By Grand Elder Guru?

Prior to the Namek Saga, Tien was always above Krillin in Power.

At the beginning of Z he had a Power Level of 250 while Krillin was at 206, a 1.214× edge over Krillin, he'd demolish him. But 1 year later during the Saiyan Saga the gap became smaller but Tien was still above Krillin, having a PL of 1,830 while Krillin was at 1,770 (Krillin has more potential than Tien? ), a 1.034× difference, Rival range.

But ever since Krillin got his Potential Unlocked by Grand Elder Guru on Namek initially boosting him up to 13,000 then all the way up to 75,000 by the time the Freeza Saga happened, Krillin remained above Tien. The only thing we have on Tien is being able to take down Jeice and Burter in that Filler episode, but we know that based on Ginyu's statement, you have to have a PL of 60,000 minimum to be able to take down the weaker 4 of the Ginyu Force. So putting Tien there is good speculation.

But to get to the main question, if Tien got his Potential Unlocked by Guru, would that replace him above Krillin?

You can answer both scenarios listed:

1. He does go through King Kai training.

2. He doesn't go through King Kai training.​

I do believe Kuririn had more potential than Tien, since Kuririn slowly closed the gap before Namek. When Tien first appeared he could've one shot Kuririn, but by the Saiyan Saga they're almost equals.

Filler Tien vs Jeice and Burta is way above 60k. He splits himself in two and still beats them, so he's more around the ~100k range.

Without training with Kaio, I don't think Tien catches up. He'd probably be as strong as he is in canon. But if it's training + potential unlock, he might regain his lead. Not by much though, since training should already exhaust a lot of his potential.
