Who wins & Why do they win?
Please explain exactly why whichever would win.

Lets talk about Potential, limit Breaking, Mastered Forms, Rage Boosts.
In your own words explain what is Potential, limit Breaking, Mastered Forms, Rage Boosts & why is it so important, & what are the benefits in the Dragonball universe.

How are they different from Transformations, multipliers, Fusions, etc.
What increases or decreases someone's Potential.

Potential as of Super is little more than an excuse for sudden power ups for any character the plot favours (particularly Goku, Vegeta, Freeza and Broly).
Potential is only really given much care in the original manga, in which it was clearly defined that Gohan, Goten and Trunks had more potential than anyone else outside of Boo and Oob.

Firstly, to answer the first question, it depends whether or not we're talking about this from the perspective of the original manga's stance or the retcons of Super. For the former, pre-ritual Gohan would have more potential to grow as he had a lot of latent power to tap into, with his Ultimate self being suggested not to be able to progress much further after having been brought beyond his natural limits. As of Super, however, this idea has been retconned with Gohan being able to easily fight those with God Ki just through regular training and progression, making his Ultimate self in that revamped continuity have far more potential to grow after being brought past a wall of his limits.

To answer what potential is, there are two ways to look at it:

1. The natural talent someone has that sets them apart from others, such as Goku being a fighting genius by the standards of many, Gohan being able to become far stronger through rage, Freeza's training GAINZ, etc.
2. The latent power someone possesses and has yet to draw out. For instance, Kuririn and Gohan becoming far stronger from having their potential unlocked on Namek showing how much they still had left, or Gohan having so potential Elder Kaioshin's ritual took far longer than it would for most.

Sorry for the late back & forth.

Which do you think better fits the definition of what Potential is?
I think Super's revision best fits as it removes the limit & establishes that a person's Potential can vary depending on how much effort put into their improvement of themselves.

Exactly, I agree with both.
That's what I believe with the MajinSpell & Vegeta.
Instead of simply writing it off as a plot device or saying the Spell only added 20% -33% boost, I believe it allowed him to access that Hidden Potential he had left before matching Goku.

I also see it as the reason why Goku as a G4 SuperSaiyan at just 50% power easily surpassed G3 FutureTrunks.

The original manga's as it has a far more solid hierarchy of how much certain characters and races can achieve, which is more in line with how integral genetics can be for potential in the real world and makes sense as the strengthening of the body is an important task in Ki growth. It also provides more exclusivity to certain skills such as rage boosts that allow the abilities of characters such as Gohan to be more unique.

Meanwhile, Super offers power ups to any character it sees fit depending on the plot, usually with little rhyme or reason to it by comparison.

Yea I agree but I never liked the gimme with Gohan's Potential though.
Compared to Vegeta & Goku, Gohan should have the least amount of Potential.
Even Krillin should have more.

Gohan's Ultimate is just his potential unlocked.
Rage Boosts increases one's Potential beyond normal strength.
To achieve SuperSaiyan a trigger of anger is needed...........Not counting Universe6 Saiyans

According to most guides & the material.
The transformation into a Super Saiyan is generally caused by an overwhelming sense of rage and hatred.
So if anger is needed then why didn't Broly achieve SuperSaiyan before Frieza enraged him ?

Is it a matter of one's Potential having to hit its celling + an overwhelming sense of anger.
