What makes Kyurem-B so bad?

What I don't understand is how Zekrom is Ubers, while Kyurem-B is only OU. First, let's look at their base stats.

Atk: 150
Def: 120
SpA: 120
SpD: 100
Spe: 90

Kyurem-B
HP: 125
Atk: 170
Def: 100
SpA: 120
SpD: 90
Spe: 95

So, despite having slightly weaker defenses (which is somewhat made up for with more HP), Kyurem-B clearly exceeds Zekrom in Speed and Attack, and matches in Special Attack.

Next, let's look at an Ubers set for Zekrom.

Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 136 HP / 252 Atk / 120 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Hone Claws
- Bolt Strike
- Dragon Claw
- Outrage

Besides Bolt Strike (which is replaceable with Fusion Bolt; which while weaker, is more reliable), Kyurem-B can learn all of these moves, so there'd be nothing stopping someone from running a nearly identical set on Kyurem-B.

So what is it that makes Kyurem-B so bad? Is it the typing? Because Kyurem-W is still Ubers with the same exact typing. I just don't see how Kyurem-B can only be OU while a Pokémon like Base Blaziken can be Ubers.

I think Base Blaziken was banned before the baton pass clause. During that era where an entire team could just straight up baton pass willy nilly it was seen as one of the central catalysts.

Zekrom is Ubers probably because of how devastating stab bolt strike is.

Because of Kyurem-B's limited physical movepool, he was put down to OU. No physical ice move. He commonly has to rely on being a mixed attacker, especially if it wants to utilize its ice stab (120 base stat) isn't all that high in uber standards.

It's really only due to the fact that coverage is important in Ubers, the waste of a tremendous blessing since Kyurem-B doesn't have a real good physical movepool that made Kyurem-B fall to OU.

thats realllllllllly lame, there is power herb but even then. they should have just made the move not as strong and it would be fine

Damn, that's dumb. It's too bad Kyurem-B can't even learn Ice Punch either.

Sometimes I don't know what they're thinking. Let's give Kyurem-B an amazing attack stat, but oh wait. No physical ice type move for you. It's an ice type, it had big ass hands, you'd think it would at least know Ice fucking Punch. Such a waste. It's a bit like taking Sacred Fire away from Ho-Oh - it's just dumb.
