When Gotenks Boo regressed into Piccolo Boo

Shouldn't we have seen a Base Gotenks Boo for a brief period of time? We saw that SSJ3 Gotenks didn't lose his fusion right away, and instead turned Base first. Or is Piccolo > Base Gotenks post?

It seems to be due to the magical abilities of Boo's body. SS3 Gotenks should only last for 5 minutes, yet it's apparent Boo wasn't losing strength before the end of his fusion, nor did Goku comment on the shortened fusion time.

Hell, Boo openly stated that he still had 10 minutes of fusion time left to beat Gohan with when Gotenks ordinarily lasts for only 5 minutes in SSJ3. Clearly Boo's unlimited stamina kept Gotenks transformed and fused for the full 30 minutes.

Perhaps he was Base Gotenks Buu indeed, which is why he was dressed differently when he reverted to Buuccolo later.
