Where did South Kaioshin's power go?

Pure Boo + South Kaio = >> Evil Boo

Boo loses Good Boo from within, transforms into South Boo for a brief few moments, and then loses all of that immense power for seemingly no reason and goes back to Pure Boo.

Why did he lose the South Kaio influence? Good/Fat Boo seemingly didn't lose the Dai Kaio influence that he had.

All I have is a shitty theory.

When Pure Evil Boo absorbed Mr. Boo, he powered-up and had access to most of Mega Boo's power. However, since he was still influenced by Mr. Boo, some of it was still suppressed. Super Boo's a different entity, but he's more similar to the Boo that absorbed the strongest Kaioshin than the others. My reasoning for that is that the evil portion of Boo is more dominant in Super Boo When Mr. Boo was removed, Boo continued transforming as he naturally would've until his physical body realized the absorption's were gone and reverted to Kid Boo instead.

Why? Maybe it's a Boo and Boo thing, like when Kid Boo was able to damage Mr. Boo because they're both Boo's--or how Mr. Boo was able to stop Kid Boo from attacking Hercule even though he was no longer attached to him. Maybe because Boo was Fat Boo for so long his body had to go through the stages it reached before returning to the original form. Probably some magical shit like that. It's weird.

Great topic, no one has any real logic on this shit. I gotta think a bit more...

Evil Vegeta, that's a good start to having a working theory. It does seem to be that Super is indeed getting his power from Buff Buu.

Fat buu = kid buu with south and dia kaioshin absorbed
So when he released grey buu most of his power was given to him but the kai's essence both remained in him. (fat buu who is now good buu)
So when fat buu was pulled out from super buu the kai's essence also left.
Maybe...

I once posted an analysis about Buu's powers, with Kais' powers being plainly additives. The only problem with that analysis is it has South Kai
stronger than the Gohan who pulled the sword...

That isn't an issue, just assume that he never tried to pull it out.

That is actually a good question and the thing that confused me the most about the Buu Saga. Super Buu is stated by Goku to be someone he can't beat even with Vegeta's help in a handicap match and fusion is his only chance of defeating him. Yet when Super Buu begins reverting back into Kid Buu and he's buffed up Goku comments on his increase in power but once he's done reverting back into Kid Buu Goku has no issues with fighting him and is certain he could've killed him before Vegeta even suggested the Spirit Bomb.

So that is a good question: What the bloody hell happened to that power? Did Buu fart it all out while transforming or was that a mistake on Toriyama's part in order to create an opponent for Goku to beat so he could written off as the hero? If it's the latter than that's a pretty big & confusing mistake.
