Was it near West City or South City? How far is Ginger Town from West City and South City?
Where is Japan? Dagon (member here) said Roshi said "[something] in all of Japan". Roshi lives on a little island. Is that Japan? Lol. Goku, Oolong and Chi Chi all seem to be related to China, maybe Krillin too. Yamcha is from the desert and I'm guessing there's no desert like that in Japan (not looked it up. But the biggest desert in the UK is a pebble beach). King Fury talks and there's no talking dogs in Japan. I guess Ninja Murasaki is Japanese and he lived in Suno's village - is that Japan?
Japan and China don't seem to have any cities. There's just West and South City, plus Ginger Town. Everywhere else is villages. It's like Akira Toriyama made everywhere else old style (China, Japan, India, Native America) and the USA-inspired areas modern. I wonder if he thought of doing that on purpose, as a method of blending historical with modern. There's no Tokyo or Hong Kong.
