So, apparently a Dragon Clan Namekian and a Warrior Clan Namekian are both incapable of fusing with one and the other is this true?
Where was it stated that a Dragon Clan, and a Warrior Clan cannot fuse?

Who said this? Piccolo is a warrior and was able to fuse with Kami a dragon clan.

Even though it's a video game, I like how Piccolo can merge with Dende in Legend of the Super Saiyan for the SNES. It takes his power level from a million to over 2 million.
If you don't merge, you can keep Dende as a healer. The issue is Freeza will kill him off in his Final form. It's best to just assimilate him and get the power-up instead.
But yeah, as mentioned, this is never said in the series.

I liked that scenario in SSW where you could resurrect Piccolo's father and fuse with him (despite the sheer nonsense of Daimao even challenging his son at all with their gap in power). At the time I found it ridiculous Piccolo could climb up to near-SSJ3 Gotenks level strength, but now that Super's been released that's not even slightly illogical compared to some of the shit in the show

Yeah, SSW's what-ifs were quite fun. Thought it was funny how they basically reused the Raditz scenario in the Cell Games. Piccolo used SBC while Goku had Cell in an arm-lock, but Cell regenerated. Piccolo then just blows him away with a Light Grenade, I think.

It's mentioned in the Daizenshuu. Since it doesn't contradict anything, I take it as true. Piccolo fusing/merging with Kami could be just explained by him "coming back to the same being", whereas if they weren't one before they wouldn't be able to merge. Nail also says something like "so merge with me... I am the last of the warrior type" iirc. Dunno if it necessarily means something though.
