Which downplaying is more annoying?

Think on it... "Goku vs. Chi-Chi is gag... she lost to the air of his punch" or "Kids don't rival (or massively surpass) #18... she was holding back with no real explanation".

Chi-Chi, because the reasons for her being low are laughable, and even more people think that. I mean in a world where people can seemingly accept Ran-Fan being higher than Yamcha (some do), why can't they Chi-Chi?

Goten and Trunks' strength seems more objective to me, so I find their downplaying worse. The reasoning is also more idiotic, since it's usually just "they're kids!!!"

Tbf I haven't met anyone who accepted Ranfan > Yamcha but not Chi Chi > whoever.

The Goten/Trunks one bothers me more, personally, as I find the intent there a bit more clear cut. If they were 15 instead of 7 I doubt nearly as many people would deny that one.
