Which game had the most characters that played identical to each other?

Though BT2/3 gets shit for needlessly splitting characters into multiple versions, I'd have to go with Sagas cuz EVERYTHING character play EXACTLY the same. They all share upgrades, have the same basic combos, and even shared the same canned animation. The only thing setting them apart is some can transform so it basically boils down to character preference when choosing someone to play as. The first two Budokai games are a (distant) 2nd.

Which is the most cloned to you?

Aside from those already mentioned, LoG2 comes to mind, mainly due to the limitations of it's function, since most characters have the same kind of punches, kicks and special moves, Mr. Satan being the obvious exception.

LOG2 is still one of the best DBZ games on the GBA though. The sequel game had more variation to the characters' stats due to the point system and item equipment, but was still a worse game.

I'd say either Sagas or the Sparking! series takes the cake.

*ever, from wat i've heard
It is.

LOG2 shouldn't be in the clone section. It had quite a bit of variation between characters.

But that grinding...
