Who came from the original timeline Cell or Trunks?

Just as the topic question asked, who came from the original timeline?

After watching Terminator: Genisys, it made me think about the different timelines.

From sequence we were told;

1. Future Trunks came from the future which is destroyed by #17 and #18. In that timeline Trunks never mentioned Cell at all.

*Future Trunks arrives an hour before Frieza and Cold arrives and kills them.
*Future Trunks informs them that-
-Goku died from a heart dissease.
-Vegeta, Piccolo and the rest were killed by the cyborgs.
-Future Gohan and Trunks was the last remaining earth heroes.
-Bulma built a time machine.

^ so all logical says Future Trunks timeline might be the original.

2. Future Trunks goes back to the future and returns a little older. This time he says he found blue prints to deactivate the cyborgs.

3. But when Cell came to this timeline and explained to Piccolo (main timeline with Cell Games), he said he killed Future Trunks and used his time machine.

I'm confused.

Cell, assuming you mean the one that was killed by Gohan. Trunks' timeline was altered by his knowledge of Cell and subsequent visits to the RoSaT that allowed him to thwart his timeline's Cell and his attempt at stealing the time machine.

Ok then, when Cell was explaing this to Piccolo, there was a picture of Trunks killing Frieza and Cold.

Doesn't that mean even Cell's timeline is altered by time travel?

Plot hole. If his timeline were altered by time travel the same events would have occurred as they did in the timeline where Goku's heart virus was delayed and they had knowledge of the cyborgs.

Another similar plot hole occurs in his explanation where he says that he merely pressed the switch to go back where Future Trunks meant to go, but he ended up 4 years earlier - before anyone even knew Trunks and before Mecha Freeza landed. Don't pay that much mind to it.

Was Future Trunks timeline (the one who foguht in the Cell Games) created the moment cell went back and the two timeline split?

I would reckon that the original Future Trunks traveled back to the timeline where he got the blueprints for #17 and #18 from, causing a second timeline (where he gave Goku the medicine) - but when Cell killed him, took his time machine, then traveled further back, it caused a third timeline similar to the second to emerge. Then, like the previous timeline, a similar Trunks gave Goku the medicine and then crossed back 3 years later, but this time encountered Cell who had been underground for 4 years; this caused this Trunks to obtain knowledge that the other one lacked. Then, by killing Cell in his timeline later he prevents the same thing from happening again as Cell was unable to go back to the past.
