Who is stronger?

I think I would give this to Gohan. The fight seemed like it would go either way but Gohan was fighting equally with him while being rusty at the same time.
Gohan: 21 (Even, Rusty Performance)
Dabra: 20 ( Even, Average Performance)
They are practically equal but I have Gohan a tiny bit stronger.

Gohan is higher, in my opinion. It seemed like Dabura's Magic and tricks gave him the most trouble, and IIRC he lands the only punch in the fight.

I'd tend to give Dabura the edge, since regardless of how arrogant he may be, it'd be downright stupid for him to later have full confidence in beating Gohan if he were indeed inferior to the Saiyan. The only thing to place Gohan solidly above him would be Dabura resorting to using his spit, though that could easily be argued with the assumption that he may be too fond of using it in battle to the point that it becomes a habit.

Gohan broke Dabura's blade, so he was stronger, but by a margin small enough to explain Dabura's confidence.

Gohan was stronger, but it would've been easier for him if he trained some more while I was gone.

I usually go with Gohan. Despite being out of touch with his skills, he still stalemated Dabura and countered all of his tricks. At best I'd put the two dead even.

I put Dabura slightly above Gohan although they are things to suggest Gohan being the stronger of the two

- If you think he was a SSJ like me than obviously he's stronger than Dabura
- Gohan at the end of their struggle was unscathed with only parts of his clothes gone as he had really no scratches whatsoever even after taking a blast from Dabura head on.

- Gohan breaking Dabura's sword
- Gohan countering everything Dabura threw at him.

I consider Dabura's confidence to be arrogance. He was told to hurt Gohan and got so frustrated that he tries to turn him into stone (which won't hurt him) than outright tries to kill him. Before that he thought he could take the Saiyans and Kaioshin at the same time (which I'm sure he could if the Saiyans were in base form), than thought he could take and beat Buu.

Dabura without magic I'd give to Gohan

With Magic I'd give to Dabura.

What we see is basically, more or less an even fight and we even see Gohan breaking Dabura's sword and putting him on the defensive in the beginning. By all means it looks like Gohan has the power advantage. But apparently from what Goku saw Dabura was winning...or as he states.

"Gohan wasn't completely losing" which to me pretty much says Dabura had the overall advantage.

Gohan is stronger in the fight its possible he wasnt but if he got mad "like against cell" or when he was spamming KHH at Buu's ball he is stronger.

I say Dabra. Goku and Vegeta showed only dissapointment at Gohan's fighting level, while Goku at least bothered to compliment what he observed from Dabra. Goku's level of concern seemed to outweigh his confidence. A far cry from the confidence he had in Gohan during the Cell Games.
