Who would you rather have as a tag partner?

The basic scenario is that you're forced to enter a dueling tournament or your family will be sent to the Shadow Realm. You have to win the entire tag team tournament with your partner, and everybody else on the list will be randomly paired up and fighting against you (meaning Yugi might get Tristan as his partner, for instance).

I assume Exodia counts as plot hax? I'll take Pegasus.

I'll either go with Pegasus since he's my favorite character and tbh his deck is broken or Mai since she's a thot and actually a good duelist, she just isn't important enough to actually win most of the time.

Out of these, Kaiba, Rebecca or Rafael are the best possible choices. Without plot BS, Yugi comes across as a duelist with a mediocre deck. Joey relies too much on luck. The others are also terrible. Pegasus would have been good but without his millennium eye, he's a below average duelist.

Meanwhile, Kaiba has some of the best cards and combos, like the virus one. Rebecca can lock you down in a mean anti-cure deck, while Rafael's deck is solid, where he could beat Yugi without resorting to BS.

If I had to pick one, It's Kaiba.
