1. It avoids the trap that AT (unintentionally?) set up himself and fell for
again and again over the years, which is the notion that, to expand DBZ
with a new saga, you always have to make PLs many times greater than
before. After Freeza Saga, where the characters could already destroy
planets, that became ridiculous. DBM does not increase PLs compared
to Buu Saga top tier, at least not significantly (there is no evidence up
to now that Vegetto, Buu Saga's top dog, has had any major gains),
proving that a new, exciting story can be made using the same powers
as in the previous saga.
2. It has more interesting characters. Vegetto and Zen Buu are more
interesting godlike beings than Beerus and Whiss.
3. It's not all about Goku/Vegeta.
4. It induces female Super Saiyans into the story, something AT never
did. DBM's female fighters (Bra, Pan, Hanasia) are hot, cool and tough.
5. Salagir has settled with a certain power scaling (ex. Ultimate Gohan>
SSJ3 Goku, Kaioshins>Freeza>Base) and never contradicts it.
6. There are interactions among characters from various sagas which
would never be logically possible without this story.
7. Many movies have been logically explained and integrated into
canonicity in a cool way. That was possible in the first place because
Salagir wasn't afraid of even slightly changing the movies' plot where it
didn't make sense.
