Why didn't Mecha Freeza and King Cold went after Goku?

Anyone found it weird Freeza and Cold didn't go directly to Goku after the state Goku put Freeza in? After all, Freeza and Cold know where Goku is because of their radar.

Also, didn't Freeza LEARN you don't piss off Goku? The same guy who transform into the legendary SSJ after he tried to kill his friends and son? Yet he want to go to earth and kill the entire population with the fact it will just piss off Goku into transforming.

I don't find it weird. They knew Goku would be landing on Earth, so I think they'd just rather see Goku's face of dissatisfaction once he sees all the population killed. It's true that making Goku angry was Namek Freeza's downfall, but to me Freeza thinks Goku has already become as powerful as he can get upon achieving the SSJ... in short, the SSJ is the warrior awakened by rage, and most likely there's nothing past it even if they induce Goku into a fit of rage.

Going to Earth to bait him out was probably less of a hassle. Not only would it take a while to figure out just where he went to when Freeza didn't even know Goku took one of the Ginyus' pods, but we have little idea where Yardrat is in relation to Namek. For all we know, Earth may be the closer option.

He wanted Goku to suffer once he sees his family and friends when he arrives on Earth. That didn't go to well.

Freeza seemed to be fixated on going to Earth even during his fight with Goku. To him, wiping out the Earthlings and proving his superiority to Goku was the best possible outcome.

Even Cold proposed about wiping the Earth from space but Frieza turned him down. :rape
