After Piccolo encounter Babidi, he listen to him then slice him in half and let him fall, but why didn't he blast him into oblivion just to be sure?

I mean, he chopped the little bastard in half... Piccolo probably just expected Babidi to be dead. Also sloppy ass Boo arc writing.

What Paladin said. Piccolo likely didn't expect someone without known regenerative abilities to survive and wouldn't expect it to be possible from just being alien as he likely wasn't cued in to Freeza surviving the same injury. That, and Piccolo was made pretty incompetent from the Cell Arc and onward due to bad writing. For instance, why didn't he try the Mafuba to seal away Cell during the attempted self-destruction?

I doubt he had a rice cooker on hand. It is possible he could materialize one.

A bottle alone will do as shown at the 23rd TB, plus I doubt it'd be more difficult to materialise than a custom made gi.

The last thing Piccolo had in mind was someone was weak as Babidi surviving being cut in half. It's understandable why he didn't blast him them, it was unecessary.

:shin had warned him about Babidi's magic and not to underestimate his physical weakness, so it's still a pretty big oversight.

It's similar to Freeza not killing Nail and left him alone. :troll
Not really. Yes, both have the link of a far stronger character leaving a peon alive only for it to come back to bite them, but the context is entirely different. Not only was Post-Nail Big Green still a non-threat because "This isn't even my final form!", but it's not as though Freeza was informed on Namekian fusion beforehand like Piccolo was about Babidi's magic.

Nah, what I'm saying was that both underestimate Babidi and Nail that's all.

I don't really see much of an issue here. Piccolo sliced him in half and assumed that was all that was necessary. Once he saw that Bobbidi was still alive, he was about to finish him off. Boo regenerating is the only thing that through Piccolo off.

As for Kaioshin's warning, isn't he the same guy that assumed physically slamming Bobbidi to the ground would've been enough to stop him?

Time still passes normally when sealed in the DBverse, so wouldn't the bottle still explode? :shc

Most likely, though I imagine that with his decreased size and range it wouldn't affect the main cast.
