why do u think pegasus nerfed blue-eyes white dragon?

if any-one can & wants to say.

the original spirit was said to have power on-par with the egyptian-gods (i think) & exodia was also powerful in the game i think.

& also the same for black magician i think (since the pharaoh & priest had a duel with their spirits).

Out of universe: Takahashi probably decided to power up the Blue-Eyes since in Battle City, there were some non-God monsters that were stronger than the supposedly legendary Blue-Eyes like Masked Beast Des Gardius and Valkyrion the Magna Warrior.

In-universe: Pegasus wanted all the good cards to himself.

He could mass-print himself Exodias though, and with the Millennium Eye he could see whenever someone drew an Exodia piece and act accordingly

I dunno why Pegasus didn't keep the God cards to himself. Apparently in the manga he regretted printing them because they somehow had the ability to knock people out in non-hologram duels ( ) so he sealed them up or some crap lol.
