Why does everyone argue that "Boo's ki is like a li

Goku is referring that Boo can get stronger anytime that Boo's ki is like a lie period.

Misinterpretation. Convenient evidence for a particular argument. Something like that. Not too strange that someone might take it that way.

What is the actual manga quote that causes this argument?

Isn't it something along the lines of Boo's ki being hard to read? I always thought that was sort of like suppressing, at least from watching the anime.

It very well could mean Boo's chi is so unpredictable.

It's painfully obvious he is reffering to Fatty and his power boosts he gets by blowing smoke out of his head.
Goku says similar cryptic sh*t right before Buu powers up for the first time.

I remember when people used that line to to discredit Goku's opinion on being able to defeat Fat Boo. Nonsense.
