Why doesn’t Studio-Ghibli hire professional seiyuus?

They used to, but not anymore. I know Hayao Miyazaki once said that all the contemporary anime try to do the “cute” bulsheeeet thing nowadays, but that doesn’t extent to the older generation like say the 80s. Are they just not natural enough and sound too professional? Are they too big like Disney, who hire celebrities for their movies?
