Why Gohan has more potential then Goten and/or Trunks

Goten and Trunks's potential was combined to create Gotenks, in addition to the Metamoran fusion, which would theoretically, bring them way-ay beyond their normal potential individually.

Yet Gohan is still around 50% stronger then Gotenks SSj3 Post-Rosat. IMO, Gohan has much more potential.

They were just gifted at a much younger age but didn't progress nearly as fast, and as EOZ proves, they don't progress any further then where they're at during the Boo Saga.

Metamorian fusion is stronger than the sum of the current powers, not the potential. I think Goten and Trunks have more potential than
Gohan, being much stronger than Gohan at their age.

They're not that much stronger than gohan at the same age.

That's completely debatable, but I've found no reason to have them close to his level of strength.
