Why Present Androids are stronger than the Future Androids?

I think it's because Goku died a couple of years before the Android arc, but since Goku did live in the main timeline Gero probably upgraded the Androids.

It's possible it's just a chain-reaction/butter-fly effect.

The Androids always had to end-up being stronger than the Z-Fighters, so the stronger the Z-Team the stronger the androids.

Because Gero's computer is smarter than he is. Since it was connected to Cell and the spy robot, it made the other androids stronger without Gero's knowledge

Well, it just played differently in the main timeline, like other things did.

But I find the explanation that their energy wasn't infinite at all and the future androids already consumed some portion of it by the years of killing people good enough.

I never really liked that explanation. Trunks battled them several times and noted no decrease, plus it's from a shitty fanfiction known as DBM.

For real? Never read it.

But Trunks fought them the first time right before going to the past and probably did it again after returning to his timeline. Not much time to note a difference IMO.

Besides, that explains how future Cell's timeline androids ~ main timeline androids >>> future Trunks' timeline androids :wink:

Cell's timeline is still far into the future so its not a good explanation. Even something like "the two stepped on an electric socket and it caused their batteries to short-circuit" is less contradictory imo.

And yeah, DBM claims they need periodic check-ups or their "infinte" energy would eventually deplete.

By Cell's timeline, I meant Cell himself saying Kamiccolo weighted could put up only a bit of a good fight against the androids. If his data on the 'androids' strength' were the same as the ones in Trunks' future, he'd be very worried Kamiccolo would rip them apart.

So we have future Cell's androids >>> future Trunks' androids as well. So how about Cell's data being of the androids in the moment they were awakened, thus not knowing their depletions of energy through the course of time?

But wouldn't Gero take that into account? Cell wasn't meant to awaken until 20 years after 17 and 18 were released, and weaker absorptions would likely mean a weaker complete Cell.

How did affect there being 3 other androids? There series doesn't give definite causality between cell being there and individual changes, just that he's the reason for those changes.

Yup they kept saying that it was Cell who changed it even though he didn't do anything.

1. Since Goku died, Gero destroyed Sixteen (which was programmed just to kill Goku, so it wasn't needed anymore),
so he had more time to try to make Lapis and Lazuli obedient (in the main timeline, Gero said something about
focusing too much on their power and neglecting their obedience).
2. The Androids became gradually weaker by wearing out.
3. Androids have the same power in both timelines, they just seemed weaker to Trunks because they used less than
half power.

They only used less than half power on Gohan during their first fight.

Personally, i see no reason not to accept Timeline Androids=Alternate Androids, since all the gaps implied over the
whole Androids Saga/Lone Warrior lean towards that notion, the opposite being only supported by a stupid
statement.

Nothing openly discredits the statement of past androids > future androids, and it's openly stated that Cell visiting the past altered events, so this can easily just be one of them
