I've done Wifi battles in Gen4 and 5, not in 6, as I haven't beaten the game yet.
I don't EV train, so my stuff probably isn't up to snuff as the more "serious" guys. I do get annoyed at Smogon fans on other sites, mostly because of their attitude, which are like most competitive gamers who take their hobby too seriously. The "may way is the only way" attitude always annoys me when it comes to anything regarding choice.
Also when they're looking for people to battle, and they don't mention that they want you to play by Smogon rules, then get butthurt when you break the rules. Sorry, but if you're going to play by certain house rules, you need to establish that before the fight. Not scream at the DS mic that I threw out a Garchomp.
