Worst battle in the anime?

Did any end up really dissapointing you, or just be really anticlimactic?

I know it always bugged me that Ash beat Brock by sprinkler system. Why insist on using Pikachu anyway?

Besides, in the game, electric doesn't work on rock at all. Ever. So it was a tease to begin with.

Yeah, Ash vs Brock was atrocious.

I was ok with the idea of supercharging pikachu, but the idea was wasted on using it against Onyx.

And why insist on using Pidgeotto and Pikachu? Isn't that way harder than catching some random grass/water type.

That Onyx was weak as fudge anyway. Not like it was a beast mode ala charizard. Hell, Brock used Zubat way more than Onyx during most of the show anyway.

Ash vs Sabrina was a pretty bad one. He didn't even beat her, Haunter got her to laugh and then he got the badge.

If you've seen any of the battles in the more recent seasons though, those have been bad. Never thought Pokemon had great battles but the recent-er ones have been so lifeless. Just a flurry of attack after attack with supplementary exposition as needed.
