Would Kuririn die if he faced the Saibaiman instead of Yamcha?

Kuririn said Yamcha took his place because he feared something like that would happen. Would Kuririn die, in your opinion?

Most likely. He wouldn't be able to endure the self-destruction, and he probably wouldn't finish the Saibaiman off as soon as it was on the ground if Tenshinhan didn't.

Yea. He's marginally stronger than Yamcha at best and we saw what happened there. The quote you mentioned is pretty well Toriyama telling us it would have happened.

Piccolo might have barely hung on but the rest would have gotten the same result.

Also worth noting that, if we assume Chaozu's self-destruction was the exact same boost and we take his Daizenshuu battle power of 610, his alone was at a level Piccolo initially believed he'd taken down someone Big Green himself could do nothing against. I think that says it all about how any of the Dragon Team at the scene would fare if given a surprise hug.
