Would Piccolo still be training if he hadn't fuse with Kami?

It seems to me that Kami's influence made Piccolo stop training after Cell Games. What do you think?

Agreed, I think Kami's influence on Piccolo changed him. I doubt he did much training during the 7 year gap and spent his time mentoring Dende. That being said, the power Kami brought Piccolo, most likely would never have been achieved by Piccolo on his own. Piccolo received several ridiculous hax power ups, his training on Kaio's planet, his hax gains for the Androids, but those can be explained. Piccolo without Kami remains at a Cell Saga Androids level power imo and stays there for his life.

I think Toriyama just threw him to the side regardless. He became irrelevant after Cell along with the humans. That's about as far as that goes. Had nothing to do with Kami.

His GT plot boosts and Frost-God level have nothing to do with Kami!
