Can be manga, anime, movies, etc.

Mine would have to be Namek. After reading through it in the full colour manga, I really started to appreciate its simplistic beauty. I also quite enjoyed the anime's portrayal of the end of Namek's life, as it did well to capture the vicious conditions that Goku and Freeza were fighting in.

How about you?

The Heavenly Realm (more commonly known as Kami's Lookout/Temple in English) would be one. Its Indian/Middle Eastern inspiration with the shape of its buildings is highly complimented by Mr. Popo's design basis of a genie and has a fantastical aspect to it with it hovering in the sky on its own. All these help add to its spiritual nature and what role that played in the training provided here.

I'd also offer an honourable mention to the Makai as it's shown in DBH material. The outer view of the planet is an interesting design that does play into the aspects of it completely different to the moral realm and whilst the world itself isn't the most varied in locations, it earns a spot due to how much potential it had for stories both in and out of canon. Ever since it was officially implemented with the introduction of Dabura, this demon realm being an entirely different dimension opened up a lot of possibilities that even now have only had limited use.

I’m with CC here, but I’d extend that to Karin’s Land as well for both looking better on it’s own and adding to the beauty of the landscape. I like the forest with Karin’s Tower cutting through the sky and hovering over the civilization, and the idea there’s something above even that.

I also find the deformed HFIL from Movie 12 very visually appealing, even if just for how colourful it is.

Are we talking about the battlefields here? Because HFIL from M12 looks absolutely stunning for battleground. Also the Kami Look-out is right there as well.

I'd say the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Besides the benefit of having more time to train, the harsh conditions — namely the thin air, increased gravity, and extreme weather fluctuations — along with the isolation from the Living World really emphasise the toughness and discipline required to sustain the time spent in there. The anime exemplifies this through Trunks's flashback and description of his experience in the place. There also tends to be a certain presence given off that make onlookers attentive when fighters emerge from there.

I like the locations in DBZ Movies 1 and 2. They feel claustrophobic and isolated in a way that you don't usually get from DBZ battlefields. Dr. Wheelo's lair is particularly labyrinthine, with weird, alien-looking architecture and an array of traps to halt our heroes. And Garlic Jr.'s lair has this otherworldly, demonic look about it, far removed from the sci-fi look of the other locations in DBZ.

Other than that, I like a lot of the cozy locations in the Red Ribbon Arc, like Jingle Village, Penguin Village, and the Karin Sanctuary.
