Are all the series the same timeline as Gx and the original. If so how long after. In 5d's the setting is completely different and their is no mention of Yugi. In Zexal the usage of turbo duels and Synchro is non-existent. In Arc-V Xyz pretty much faded away

I always thought from 5Ds onward it was in much farther times than the first 2 series. I thought the original series took place in the 90s, GX was 10 years after the original series. 5Ds takes place from 2030 to 2040 so I figured Yugi might've retired from the game altogether or for some unexplained reason be dead. In the Bond Beyond Times movie the 5Ds gang read an article where Yugi is apparently still perceived to be the GOAT of duel monsters and Jack expresses his desires of fighting Yugi (or see him in action up close during his hey day in the dub) so I guess he'd be dead or at least retired. Zexal I lost track of time (who gives a shit honestly). Arc V I still don't know but apparently this is a different universe seeing as the Crow and Jack of that series are different from their 5Ds counterparts and Yusei is still nowhere to be seen in that series.

Bonds Beyond Time went back in time to when Atem was still with Yugi, so after Battle City but before the Millennium World arc (or an alternate timeline where Atem never level). Yugi would surely be perceived as the GOAT being that's the case.

I believe Kaiba was still mentioned as being one of the only two people to survive the destruction of Domino City, meaning he was still alive in 5Ds, so it couldn't have been that far into the future. Well, I guess it could be 50-60 years into the future and still have Kaiba alive seeing as he was supposed to be in high school in the original series.

Zexal and Arc-V, I have no goddamn clue because I don't care one bit about them.

For some reason I always felt that 5ds was like 200 years after. Zexal probably 200 years after 5ds and Arc-V 200 years after Zexal

GX is set an unknown amount of years after DM. The Yugi that handed him Winged Kuriboh was either an adult Yugi or Atem; who made a return unannounced. This isn't confirmed yet.
GX and DM are from the same universe.
5D's is from the same universe as DM and GX.
The amount of time is also unknown, but clearly much more than DM and GX...
Zexal is unconfirmed in just about everything, but could now possibly be in the same universe do to XYZ monsters being used in Arc-V.
Arc-V isn't confirmed for anything either. This is because the versions of both Jack and Crow in the series are alternate universe versions of themselves.
This doesn't rule out Zexal for it just yet though.

GX is supposed to be 10 years after the original. Yugi is an adult and he doesn't have the Puzzle anymore so I guess he and Atem have separated. I was curious on when 5Ds takes place and looked up and came across some people saying his birthdate is 2012 and he's 18 at the start of the series (probably not the best source) but it's safe to say a good bit into the future. Pegasus is supposedly dead since a memorial foundation in his name sponsored the WRPG. But I think a good bit in the future would at the original main characters would be old or dead seeing as Yugi is still considered by all to be the best who ever played the game.

Yugi either DOES have the puzzle or Atem returns.
The duel of Yugi VS Jaden wouldn't make sense without it.

I thought Jaden and Yugi's duel took place sometime after Battle City. Yugi is a grown up in GX and doesn't have the puzzle and somehow magically sends Jaden into the past where he's still in school. I personally follow the Dream Theory that just makes so much more sense.
