An off-guard attack from Gotenks was useless. Further-more, Gohan is implied to be more useful than Gotenks is in Dragonball Super.

Gotenks couldn't one-shot Tagoma with an off-guard attack. The feat looks very similar to the one between Gotenks SSj Post & Super Boo, but this doesn't mean Gotenks is stronger than Tagoma.
